A native of Roscommon and a former member of the group Providence. John Wynne released an impressive first solo album, "With Every Breath," some years ago. Wynne's playing is perhaps even more remarkable on this new release, full of classic tunes delivered with energy and style, and expertly backed throughout. Wynne is at the top of his game here, and this splendid new album would have to be included among the great recordings of flute music from the Roscommon/Sligo tradition.
