Although O'Murchu is originally from Belfast, his style of playing and his music are very much associated with the Sligo-Leitrim-Roscommon tradition. Like on his 1997 release "O Bheal Go Beal," O'Murchu enjoys the company of several outstanding musicians on this new recording. One track even features nine other flute players who are students of O'Murchu, and it's a special sound indeed. Overall, the sound of this album is lighter, less didactic perhaps, than the previous one, and it makes for a most enjoyable listening experience.
