CONALL O'GALLCHOIR: AR IMEALL AN CHUAIN
A lovely recording of sean-nos singing from Donegal. For a man's voice, O'Gallchoir's is unexpectedly sweet, and the singer's very slight vibrato is pleasant rather than out of place. Manus Lunny (guitar, bouzouki, keyboards, bodhran), Stephen Campbell (fiddle, viola), Michael McGoldrick (whistle), and Joe Mhici Jimmi (whistle), join in on several of the tracks with nicely crafted acompaniments.
