An unusual 3-CD set by this acknowledged master of the Sligo-style concert flute. Tansey recorded narrations about his life, boyhood memories, and other music-related subjects, as well as flute and whistle music and songs. The non-musical material may seem a bit self-conscious at times, but can also be interesting and even very entertaining. Perhaps a true reflection of the man.
