Robin Bullock: guitar, bouzouki, mandolin
Michel Sikiotakis is one of the foremost Irish flute and whistle players in France and has won a couple of All-Ireland titles. Robin Bullock, a well-known American guitar, bouzouki, and mandolin player originally from Washington DC, moved to France in 2000 and began playing with Sikiotakis soon after. The two released this CD in 2003 on the US (and widely distributed) label Dorian, but the label has since folded and the musicians have bought their album back. So I am pleased to be able to add it to the Celtic Grooves catalogue. Well played, and lots of interesting and unusual tunes.
