A thoroughly enjoyable first recording of straightforward traditional music played on the accordion by East Galway native Ena O'Brien, with former Rare Air piper Pat O'Gorman on concert flute. This may not be the most dazzling display of virtuosity, and the tunes are fairly well known overall, but the music has a lot of soul and just the right sound. Other Toronto-area players appear, including Brian Taheny (guitar, bouzouki).
