MICK MULCAHY
Mick Mulcahy: accordion

This classic album, first released in 1976 and just recently re-released on CD, was the first recording made by this excellent accordion player from Brosna, Co. Kerry. Perhaps better know nowadays as he performs with his two extraordinarily talented daughters Louise and Michelle, with whom he recorded the gorgeous "Notes from the Heart," Mick Mulcahy is a fine solo player in his own right, and his renditions of classic tunes, a majority of them reels, always have that personal touch which distinguishes the work of the true traditional musician.
