What is better than a gorgeous-sounding, perfectly tuned set of uilleann pipes with drones and regulators in full harmony? Three playing at once, of course! And there's no better group of musicians to try this seemingly foolish trick than gifted Dublin piper Gay McKeon and his two equally gifted sons. As good an accompanist as Arty McGlynn is, the guitar seems rather superfluous here. The three pipers take solo turns and demonstrate their individual styles and skills, but there is no doubt that the thrill of hearing those three sets of pipes going at once is unequalled.
