A B/C accordion player originally from Kilty, Co. Wexford, Hayes plays very much in the Joe Burke style, and this, his second CD, follows very much in the same vein as the first one: impeccable playing, with an easy pace to his music which makes it a nice reference for someone like me who has been bitten by the squeeze bug; great tunes, mostly outside of the common repertoire and some of them composed by Hayes himself. Nice piano and guitar accompaniments. This is a lovely CD for amateurs of the B/C box.
