A nice collection of whistle instrumentals played very competently by this Sligo native (who now resides in upstate New York), with guitar, bouzouki and bodhran accompaniments by Dervish multi-instrumentalist Shamie O'Dowd. Besides the usual and mostly standard jigs and reels, there is a notable rendition of Josie McDermott's composition "Lament for a Fiddle Player."
