THE BOTHY BAND: OUT OF THE WIND INTO THE SUN
Kevin Burke: fiddle
Matt Molloy: flute, tinwhistle
Paddy Keenan: uilleann pipes, tinwhistle, low whistle
Donal Lunny: bouzouki, guitar, bodhran, synthesizer
Triona Ni Dhomhnaill: clavinet, harmonium, piano, vocals
Micheal O'Domhnaill: guitar

The band's third studio album, first released in 1977, on which the "Bothies" reached a great level of sophistication in their arrangements, but didn't quite recapture the excitement of the first two albums. Still, there is some fantastic music here, from the gorgeous slow arrangement of "The Maids of Mitchelstown," to Burke's wonderful rendition of the Margaret Barry & Michael Gorman multi-part jig "The Strayaway Child," to the epic set of jig and reels "Rip the Calico."
