THE BOTHY BAND: OLD HAG YOU HAVE KILLED ME
Kevin Burke: fiddle
Matt Molloy: flute, tinwhistle
Paddy Keenan: uilleann pipes, tinwhistle, low whistle
Donal Lunny: bouzouki, guitar, bodhran, vocals
Triona Ni Dhomhnaill: clavinet, harmonium, vocals
Micheal O'Domhnaill: guitar, vocals

The band's second album, recorded in 1976 with Kevin Burke replacing Tommy Peoples on fiddle. Although the band's sound lost a bit of its initial rawness, it also became much more polished and sophisticated, and while the instrumental tracks remained superlative, the gorgeous vocal arrangements on "Fionnghuala" and "Calum Sgaire" gave the album a whole new dimension. Burke's contribution was formidable, perhaps no less so than on the great four-part reel "Farewell to Erin." Another fantastic classic.
