Produced by the well-known flute player and former member of the House Band, this CD/booklet combination was not intended as a commercial release, but rather as a teaching aide for John's flute students. However, the word has gotten out of John's excellent playing on the CD, and this has become an overnight success, not only with flute players, I'm told, but also with accompanists who find in this collection of unaccompanied recordings a great tool to practice their skills. 45 jigs and reels.
